The Harlem Drummers in Central Park

It felt great walking around in Central Park after a long and cold winter.

As I approached the Bethesda Fountain area in Central Park I heard the drums. A mix of styles, from african to caribbean, other areas I couldn’t put my finger on, a universal sound from the past that resonates with our inner ancestral vibes. I only spent a few minutes and I took these shots.

The artists call themselves The Harlem Drummers.

I wish William Klein was there. It would have been perfection.
